ReCatalyst is developing a patented nanotech platform for producing next-gen catalysts for fuel cells and water electrolysis, maximising the efficiency of platinum group metal use for decarbonisation of the industry with green hydrogen. ReCatalyst's catalysts were already validated in pilots with reputable clients across hydrogen value chains on 5 continents & in 5 G7 economies. The company has received multiple awards such as the Slovenian Start-up-of-the-year 2023 and WIPO national award for enterprises 2025. To date, the company raised >5 M€ from dilutive and non-dilutive sources, which includes an oversubscribed seed round with investors HTGF, OCCIDENT, xista science ventures, RUJ Ventures, and Dr. Tine Tomažič (business angel, CTO at Pipistrel).
