Access to specific content on websites managed by TECES is often limited to certain groups of users, depending primarily on the user's involvement in TECES activities.
The affiliation of each user to a specific group and thus access is verified based on their login with their username and password. For users with special status, access is also verified regarding the user's association with organizations that are members of partnerships under TECES.
Types of Users
The websites mainly differentiate between two types of users – non-registered users (guests) and registered and logged-in users:
- Non-registered user (guest)
A guest is any visitor who is not logged into the web portal with a username. Guests may be subject to certain limitations in website usage or have restricted access to certain content on the website.
- Registered and logged-in user
This refers to any user who has obtained a username and password to access restricted content on the website. Registered users have different access levels and thus access to content according to the rights granted by the website administrator.
Access Levels of Users based on Special User Status
Registered and logged-in users may have access to content intended to facilitate the execution of these activities based on their involvement in various activities and projects or project groups under TECES.
Rights and access levels are determined based on the user's statute within TECES.
- Registered User (Access Rights Based on the User's Personal Role)
Access rights and levels for users are determined based on the user's role in TECES activities, such as being a member of the TECES Board of Directors, a member of the Administrative Board, a member of a working or project group, etc.
- Registered User (Access Rights Based on the User's Organization Status in which they are employed)
Access rights and levels for users are determined based on the potential special status of the organization (company) in which they are employed, such as the organization being a founder or member of TECES or a member of a specific partnership under TECES, a payer of specific services, etc.
The user's association with a specific organization is verified based on the email address. The user's email address must have the same domain (e.g., company.si) as the organization with special status.
The rights and access levels of users are determined by the website administrator.
