SIDEC 2026 · Joint Exhibition Space
SiEnE Partnership and Si MoD Join Forces at SIDEC 2026
Energy resilience is becoming one of the key factors in ensuring defence readiness, continuity of operations and the ability to respond in a changing security environment. Slovenia is responding to these challenges by connecting the defence sector, industry, research organisations and end users.
At SIDEC 2026, this approach will be presented within the joint exhibition space of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia (MORS) and the SiEnE Partnership under the overarching concept “Slovenian Approach Towards Strengthening Energy Resilience”.
The joint presentation will bring together Slovenian development and research competences, national and international projects, and dual-use technologies and solutions in one place. The focus will be on a comprehensive approach that connects the needs of the defence sector with the knowledge, development capacities and technological solutions of Slovenian industry and the research environment.
A Connected Ecosystem for Energy Resilience
Slovenia has strong research, development and industrial potential in areas that are important for strengthening energy resilience and for the future needs of the defence sector.
The SiEnE Partnership, established by TECES and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia (MORS), is the central connecting platform of the Slovenian ecosystem in the field of energy resilience. It brings together the state, industry, research organisations and end users, and creates an environment for developing solutions that arise from concrete needs and development challenges.
The joint presentation at SIDEC 2026 will present this ecosystem as a connected whole – from strategic guidelines and end-user needs, through research and development projects and the competences of Slovenian partners, to concrete technological solutions and their use in practice.
From Development Projects to Concrete Solutions
An important part of the presentation will be national and international research and development projects under the SiEnE Partnership, which connect Slovenian knowledge and development capacities with current challenges in the field of energy resilience. The competences, technologies and solutions of Slovenian companies and research organisations will also be presented, with a particular focus on dual-use solutions and the possibilities for their integration and use in the defence environment. The joint exhibition space thus presents the entire development path – from identified needs and development challenges, through research, development and demonstrations, to concrete technologies and solutions for end users.
A Meeting Point for Knowledge, Technologies and Cooperation
The joint MORS and SiEnE exhibition space will be a meeting point for the defence sector, industry, research organisations and domestic and international partners. Besides presenting Slovenian competences, projects and technological solutions, the space will be dedicated to exchanging development needs, connecting complementary knowledge and capacities, and forming new partnerships for future national and international development projects in the field of energy resilience.
Meet the Exhibitors
Behind the technologies, solutions and development projects presented are Slovenian companies, research organisations and other partners with diverse and complementary competences.
At the joint SIDEC 2026 exhibition space, they will present their knowledge, development capacities, technologies and solutions, and opportunities for cooperation in future national and international projects.
Meet the exhibitors, their competences and the solutions that co-create the Slovenian energy resilience ecosystem.
