The Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering consists of four departments, namely, Department of Geology, Department of Geotechnology, Mining and the Environment, Department of Materials and Metallurgy and Department of Textiles, Graphics and Design. The Faculty is active in the field of teaching and in the field of science, technology, and arts, which certainly makes it special within the whole University of Ljubljana. The faculty successfully implements first-, second- and third-level programs in all departments according to programs that are properly accredited. Researchers from the faculty successfully cooperate with both domestic and foreign companies. The scientific excellence of our researchers is evidenced by many top publications of research results.
